Following parts of the Terms of Service are on separate pages:
Limited liability
Kaamos Tech doesn’t sell complete devices but rather DIY modules for customers to build their own electronic devices. These modules include other components from Kaamos Tech or other suppliers, a chassis, power supply and interconnections. The buyer assembler or integrator is responsible for ensuring the final device complies with good engineering practices and local laws and regulations, particularly regarding electrical safety. Kaamos Tech is not liable for any damage to property, contents, income, business or data or personal injury or loss of life.
For practical electrical safety, always follow local regulations and use a safety earth connection. We also strongly recommend unplugging all electronic devices especially DIY ones when not in use and especially if you’re away. This is easy to do with a switchable extension cord that can turn off the whole system at once.
Copyright
Kaamos Tech reserves all rights to the materials on this website. Our designs are fairly open and we publish some for your viewing and study but they’re not for commercial reuse. If you’d like to use them commercially please contact us about purchasing the IP.
Product photos and technical information can be used on personal or commercial websites and forums to showcase and review products, provided links to the original content are included.
Accuracy of information
We strive for accuracy but mistakes and misunderstandings can occur and some information may be incorrect. We reserve the right to change content without notice. Please inform us if you find errors. Similarly, if we discover anything affecting our products for sale or previously sold, corrections will be published.
Product specifications
We sell technical products where technical specifications like audio performance figures are crucial. While we don’t guarantee any specific performance level, we provide typical figures. Our goal is transparency and honesty; we aim to achieve the stated figures in most units and expect the rest to be close enough to the typical specifications. However, stating maximum and minimum figures would require statistically significant data to ensure every unit produced meets those limits – a practically impossible promise.
Change of terms
These terms, along with those in the Shop and shipping information and Warranty and return policy, are subject to change. Our aim isn’t to shift the goalposts if something goes wrong but to be practical. We expect buyers to be aware of the current terms. If in doubt, please contact us.
